The cookery course starts at Smashing Pans, where Keith will identify all the different herbs, spices, sauces, pastes & vegetables, making it easier for you to cook Asian dishes in the future.
You will make authentic fresh green & yellow curry pastes to produce amazing curry's with a subtle depth of flavor. Onto a dry "spicey" herb mix for marinating & grilling and then a glass noodle salad with fragrant herbs and spicey undertones. Learn to cook a creamy coconut rice baked to a perfect stickyness and finish to lesson with hot & sour seafood with lime & palm sugar.
Most importantly you will learn how to balance the salty, sour, hot, sweet & cooling elements of this type of cooking where balance & harmony are so vital to the finished dish.
The lesson covers food from different countries of Asia, including Thailand, Bali, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnahm or even Laos & Kamputcha.
The food is then laid out in small portions but with lots of choice, so you can dip in a taste all the fantastic flavors.
